Sankalp Shiksha is a youth-led non-profit that began during the COVID-19 lockdown, when student Vikas Kumar and his friends stepped in to help migrant workers in rural Uttar Pradesh. What started as a relief effort quickly turned into a mission to fix a bigger problem—lack of education in villages.
We now help children and youth get access to learning, life skills, and digital tools. Through libraries, school kits, and awareness drives, we support rural kids to learn, grow, and lead better lives—no matter their background.

Sankalp is an organization in UP that bridges gaps for the rural poor, providing education and basic amenities, particularly during natural disasters like floods. Led by Vikas, a dedicated CEO, they have achieved significant progress in a short period. Vikas, my former college junior, has always been involved in philanthropic work, and this organization is the result of his and other's hard work. I wish them a bright and successful future ahead!
This is the first time I have seen such kind of facilities are being provided in the village for the students and I am surprised, these people are doing a very great job.
