I had to drop out of school during COVID because we couldn’t afford even daily meals. One day, Vikas Sir saw me in the fields and said, ‘Don’t worry about the money, just study—I’m here for you.’ Four years later, I study in a digital library at Sankalp Shiksha and dream of becoming an IAS officer to bring the same change to my village.

In Class 4, I spent more time playing marbles than studying. One day, Vikas Sir said, ‘Give me your marbles, and I’ll teach you for free.’ That moment changed everything. In Class 6, I was told I couldn’t wear shoes to a school function—‘There’s a difference between her and you,’ my teacher said. That’s when I understood the reality of caste bias. Then I found Sankalp Shiksha—a place where I was treated with respect and given equal opportunities. Today, I’m learning Robotics and AI. For the first time, I feel seen not by my caste, but by my capability.
